 Whilst you can use this bridge to walk into Braunston village, its a longer route. There are two boat yards before the bridge and with the lock immediately after there is little room for mooring whilst you wait for the lock. If there is more than one boat waiting you will find you need to stop along side a moored boat of the boatyard fleet.
